I’ve shared my everyday routine with a 15 month old, but I also have a cleaning routine. It’s beneficial to have a cleaning routine because it will help you keep your entire home clean, safe, and organized.
Some things I do daily are;
- Make the bed
- Clean up dishes/kitchen immediately after use
- At least one load of laundry
- Vacuum living room
I’m constantly washing clothes, but on monday is when I wash bed sheets, towels, blankets, and extra loads of clothes. It’s also the day that I arrange everything neatly that got out of order over the weekend, as well as vacuum our living room.
- Vacuum bedrooms and living room
- Sweep floors
- Wipe floors
On Thursdays, I pick a dresser, closet, cupboard, or drawer to organize. You’d be amazed how organizing something once a week can make such a big difference in your home!
- Clean one room
On Fridays, I pick one room such as our bedroom, Bethany’s bedroom, the living room, or kitchen to focus on cleaning. I work in that room tidying, dusting, vacuuming, and organizing.
Saturday & Sunday
- Work outside
If it’s nice outside, I may sweep our porch, clean the car, pull weeds, or complete anything that needs some extra work done that weekend.
