Note: The UV rays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A baby’s skin is very sensitive to sunlight and it’s important to keep them out of the sun. A little bit of sun won’t hurt, but I recommend a sunhat and putting some sunscreen on your baby if you know they will be in the sun.

We’ve taken Bethany hiking for a long time now. Theres really nothing better for a baby than be with mom and dad, breathing fresh air, and enjoying nature. My husband carries Bethany in a front facing baby carrier, while I carry the diaper bag. We got this jeep baby carrier as a gift, but I have another one from Amazon.

Babies also love water! If it’s warm enough outside, I recommend this fun activity. We found this splash pad for $10 at Tuesday Morning and it was perfect for her to splash around in. You can easily use a bus tub and bath toys too!
